They are the extent of what a mortal being with an unnatural reserve of magic could become. In GW1 there were necromancers of all races, and not all those races pulled their powers from the gods. Human necromancers simply called upon Grenths power as he is the humans God of Necromancy, that is all. They probably will in one capacity or another. To be honest every class seems to have a decent mix of complicated and uncomplicated classes. There's the Ele Piano meme but Catalyst is far less crazy than other eles from what I'm hearing from friends (though they are bias'd). Besides Mirages are still insanely good and Chronos aren't half bad. 3. penthadix • 6 yr. ago. Personally I've made more humans than other classes. Out of 12 characters. Second would be sylvari or norn. 1. Ferrasper • 6 yr. ago. I can see human/female being the most popular. Personally, I love my salads which is why most of my classes care salads. Supposedly the Guardian magic tradition is a mix+evolution of Monk, Paragon and Spiritualist from the GW1 days. Monk definetly had religious tones, but Paragon was less magic and more martial / internal reserves and Spiritualist kinda explains itself. 2. Rahkeesh. The charr are a race of large, savage, feline creatures that occupy much of eastern Tyria. They have renounced all gods as false and instead view all of life, from magic to combat, with a hard, cynical eye. Their culture has developed into a military state where they are raised as warriors from birth. Aside from that i have a norn and an asura. But they don't have much time on them. I did before all the personal histories of all races, i think i missed one story quest option (not branch. only one instance), but thats it. Looked back around two times, no point on other races if i don't like them. xErPe. 3. penthadix • 6 yr. ago. Personally I've made more humans than other classes. Out of 12 characters. Guild Wars 2 has a total of 10 possible playable races, including 5 core races and 5 additional ones from expansions. The sheer number of playable races in Guild Wars 2 is a testament to the game’s expansive world and the level of detail that has gone into its design. Of course, just explaining that while a race will never truly be superior, in some extremely niche uses currently humans are generally the best (though Sylvari win for condi players) 1. r/Guildwars2. Both Humans and Charr are also known hunters, dating back. They also suit the class well. Asura is the opposite end of the spectrum for me, they have little to no correlation with the Ranger class. Thief. Best suited: Human Honorable mention: Charr Least likely: Norn I think the Human suits the Thief class perfectly. There's almost 0 chances for new classes, since they release new elite specializations now. Some make professions feel like a completely new class, but that's the closest it'll get. The chances for a new race are also extremely small, unless the extra time the next expansion is taking is to make the personal story and for a new race. 17.
